How will the NASCAR point changes effect RaceScore scoring?
If using NASCAR scoring we will be increasing the points for the winner to 180. There will be no changes regarding the 10 race playoff format. We will award points to the cars/drivers for the final 10 races the same as we will for the first 26 races. If you are using the Windows version of RaceScore be sure to check your Scoring to ensure the first place is being awarded 180 points. Many of you downloaded RaceScore prior to NASCAR making this change official.

I can't logon to RaceScore Online. I know I'm using the correct username and password. What's wrong?

I tried to import the cars/drivers and race setup for the 2007 season but it says invalid file formt. What's wrong?
You must download and install RaceScore version 8.0 for the 2007 racing season. Prior version of RaceScore will still work in 2007 but the file imports will only work with the latest verison.

I downloaded and posted the results, but my reports say "No results posted". What's wrong?
You must use the Car/Driver roster and Race setup from RaceScore if you want to use the result downloads. In order to determine this, check your Cars/Drivers. If you have duplicate Cars/Drivers listed, then you built your own Cars/Drivers. The Cars/Drivers from RaceScore are the ones that are scored. You will need to change the Cars/Drivers that are tied to your teams and delete the Cars/Drivers you built.

When I try to "Get Results" from the Race result window, it says "File not found. Try back later."
You must use the Race setup from RaceScore if you want to use the result downloads. If you built your own Races, RaceScore will not be able to download the results. Use the "Import Races" button on your league detail window to download the RaceScore races.

How do you recommend entering Race Results?
The best way to enter results is to only enter the data necessary for your scoring. Select the enter key which will insert the next row for you. If you are giving bonus points for leading a lap or leading the most laps, you may want to just enter 1 for every car/driver that led a lap and 2 for the car/driver that led the most laps.

I entered and posted the race results, but my reports say "No results posted". What's wrong?
  1. Make sure the effective date you used when adding cars/drivers to your teams is less than or equal to the date of the race.
  2. Make sure you have added your teams to your league (check "League Teams" tab) on Update League dialog.
  3. Make sure the race type you defined for your league is the same as the race.

Do I need to have a web site to use this product?
You do not need to have a web site to use RaceScore. All reports are produced in HTML and opened in your default browser.
